Hey Y’all,

The Redhead ProjectThank you for visiting Wymberly Communications.

My name is Kira King. I am the owner and director of everything Wymberly Communications.

Since I’m a one-person operation, you’d probably like to know a little more about me. Following the four generations of women in my family before me, I attended St. Vincent’s Academy for high school and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012 with a Bachelor degree in Journalism, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Art History.

While in Athens, I participated in internships at the American Red Cross and Athens Social Media marketing firm.  In 2010, my now-husband and I started a journey that we called Cookin’ For College, an online cooking show that featured easy and budget-friendly recipes. Arthur was the host. I was the camera/editing crew, website developer, content creator, director and PR manager. College newspapers across the country featured articles on Cookin’ For College. The Athens Banner Herald featured their article on the front page. He did phone interviews, a skype interview with WTOC, an on-set filmed feature in New York on Fox News’ Fox and Friends morning show (see the after-show here) and was a guest on Food Network’s Paula’s Best Dishes

Fast forward to now. Arthur and I reside in the lovely city of Savannah that holds so much history and meaning for us. I began Wymberly Communications in 2014 with one thing in mind- the desire to help businesses succeed and reach their highest potential. Savannah is home to some good people with some good, wholesome businesses. I should know. I’ve been here my entire life. I’m fully aware of the culture and traditions that surround Savannah and when appropriate, effectively build campaigns with these in mind.

I want to give small (and large) businesses a boost onto online platforms through social media marketing, ultimately establishing lasting and loyal relationships with their existing and potential customers.

Thank you for visiting Wymberly Communications. There’s a saying that passion is a driving force, and when you’re passionate about the city of Savannah and its businesses, well, that just makes what I do all the more fun.
